Applicatie / application Access to SecureLogin through corporate network

[23-07-2019: 06.57] UPDATE: The issue is resolved, OpenDNS can be used again.

Customers using the Cisco Umbrella/OpenDNS service in their corporate network may be experiencing problems and see an error message about the SSL certificate when attempting to access securelogin.nu or any of the subdomains.

Cisco Umbrella uses OpenDNS, which is not allowing access to the domain securelogin.nu at the moment for an unknown reason. We have filed a support request at OpenDNS, but do not have an indication on when access will be restored.

Solution

In the meantime we advise customers to try to connect to securelogin.nu through an alternative DNS.

  • Work from another location or internet connection that uses another DNS.
  • Ask your system administrator to change the DNS settings of the corporate network. We recommend temporarily using Google DNS.
  • If your company has an account with OpenDNS the system administrator can log in there and make an exception for the securelogin.nu domain.
